To ensure sample stability and accurate test results, please read
the instructions and watch the in-depth instruction video before starting.
- Avoid ejaculation for 2 to 5 days before collecting your sample.
- Lay cooling packs flat in freezer for at least 8 hours prior to collecting sample.
- Keep the cooling packs frozen until you are ready to package your collected sample.
- Locate the nearest UPS Store location (not a drop box).
- Check the operating hours and latest Next-Day drop-off time at your preferred location.
- Your sample must be shipped on the same day as collection.
Step 1: Abstinence
Do not collect or ship your sample the day before, or on a holiday.
Step 2: Freeze Cooling
Keep cooling packs in the freezer for at least 8 hours before packaging your sample.
Step 3: Locate a UPS Store
Hand-deliver your package to your UPS Store before the daily cut-off time.
Do not use a drop box.
Collection Process
- Wash your hands and penis.
- Open the sample collection cup.
- Masturbate and ejaculate directly into the cup.
- Do not use condoms, lubricants, lotions, saliva, or partners to avoid sample contamination.
Labeling Your Sample
- Write your full name, collection date/time, and timezone on the label.
- Remove the sticker and place it on the side of the collection cup.
- Without your patient identification label, the sample cannot be tested.
Preserving Your Sample
- Open the vial with clear fluid and pour the contents into the collection cup.
- Close the lid tightly and swirl your sample to mix.
- If we receive your sample without the vial, your sample cannot be tested.

Can I do the test on weekends?
What if my sample is delayed in shipping?
If your sample is delayed in shipping, don’t worry! The kit is designed to keep the sample stable for a certain period. However, if the delay is more than 48 hours, the accuracy of the results may be affected.
Packaging Your Sample
- Seal the collection cup in the biohazard bag.
- Insert the bio-bag into the thermal bag, remove adhesive strip, & seal.
- Pack the shipping box:
- Place the foil bag into the center of the shipping box.
- STOP! Make sure to add the two frozen cooling packs on top of the foil bag before closing the box.
- Seal the box with the adhesive strip on the top flap.
- Make sure the return shipping label is visible.
Shipping Your Kit
- Drop Off at an Official UPS Store (Not a Drop Box!)
- Your test results will be sent to your provider, ordering physician, or clinic upon completion.
